My wife (whom I met whilst at university in Durham) and I have lived in the Parish for the last 20 years, having moved from Cheshire via West Yorkshire, London and Buckinghamshire.
We have 2 adult sons both with families, producing four granddaughters – such a delight!
I worked all my career in HR, starting in the gas industry and then into financial services in HR Director roles before moving into education in the years prior to retirement.
I have served the Parish Council since 2018 as a ward councillor and also for a period as Chair. I have been Chair of the Planning Committee since 2022.
I strongly believe in the concept of community and am passionate about improving communications and engagement in the Parish. We would like to improve facilities in the parish as I believe we are poorly served relative to other areas of Dorset.
