I was born in the mid 1940’s in Poole. In 1951 my parents moved to West London and brought us up in that area. I left school in 1960 and served an apprenticeship in tool making.

Following this I had a number of jobs in the electronics industry. Finally retiring at 56 years old. I moved to the St Leonards area in 2008. I was co-opted on to the parish council in 2011. I am currently the Chair of the parish council. In 2015, I was elected to serve on Christchurch and East Dorset Council, which has since been disbanded. I was then elected to serve on the newly formed Dorset Council in 2019 and subsequently re-elected in 2024.

I am married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

I joined the parish council to put something back into the community and to work with the clerk on a number of projects to make the area better. I enjoy walking on Avon Country Park and Moors Valley Country Park.
