This is advanced notice that Braeside Glade will be closed to residents between 8am and 5pm, from 18th to 20th September to allow essential maintenance works to take place. Braeside Glade contains the footpath that leads from Braeside Road to Ivy Close.
The works will include the clearance of about 150 metres of land drainage ditches and will include cutting and flailing brambles and shrubs to allow access to the ditches.
The works will involve the use of heavy machinery, moving vehicles and cutting operations. So for health and safety reasons we must close it. Signage will be displayed.
As stated, the area will be opened after 5pm when work stops for the day.
